This panel brings together Germany's leading experts to explore the future of money. Which important innovations could pave the way for a new form of money? How can blockchain technology help with this? And what significance do digital central bank currencies (CBDCs) and state control have in this context?
15:30 - 17:00 | Workshop of the TUM Blockchain Club: Past and Future of the Internet: An Expedition as a CyberPathfinder
In this interactive workshop, you will discover the evolution of the internet to Web 3.0 and blockchain technology. You will learn how the blockchain enables secure transactions and supports innovative applications such as asset tokenisation. A highlight of the workshop is the hands-on experience: you install a blockchain wallet app on your device, set up your own wallet and mine your first NFT (Non-Fungible Token). This is how you learn about the concept of digital uniqueness. You don't need any technical knowledge, just an iOS or Android device and an interest in the topic. We look forward to introducing you to the world of Web 3.0!
